RP Restoration

RP Restoration is a San Mateo, California general contractor providing residential, commercial, specialty construction, and reconstruction services. The firm handles projects from planning and design through permitting, construction, inspection, and final handover with an in-house team. Services include bathroom and kitchen remodeling, home renovations, additions, custom saunas, exterior remodeling, tenant improvements, and multifamily construction in San Mateo and San Francisco.

Restoration work includes coordinated reconstruction after fire, smoke, or water damage, with paid 24/7 emergency services available. RP Restoration also supports California property owners with damage documentation, repair estimates, restoration plans, and communication with insurance carriers. Assistance is available for homeowners, landlords, homeowners associations, and commercial property owners, while insurance coverage and payments remain determined by the carrier and policy terms. RP Restoration does not act as a public adjuster.

Commercial capabilities include tenant improvements for offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and food-service facilities, as well as multifamily unit renovations, turnovers, common-area upgrades, and exterior building repairs. Multifamily projects are scheduled by unit and phase, with planning for building access, noise windows, elevator use, and utility shutdowns. A project manager remains accountable for trade coordination, which supports work in occupied buildings.

Project-specific processes include fixed or fixed-itemized estimates before work begins, daily progress or photo updates on applicable projects, in-house design and construction coordination, and workmanship warranties on selected services. RP Restoration’s San Francisco remodeling work includes permitted kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, exterior improvements, and commercial buildouts, while San Mateo projects include residential remodeling and restoration work.
