Tell Us What Needs to Change
Directory information comes from several places: the restoration company, public business records, review platforms, credential documents, and the directory’s own review process. Any of those can be incomplete or out of date.
Use the form on this page to report inaccurate information, ask to manage a listing you own, or request removal. Every submission creates a real record for a person to review — public information is never changed automatically.
What to include
- The exact page address the problem appears on
- The statement that is wrong, quoted as it appears
- What the correct information is
- Where the correct information can be confirmed, when a source exists
- The location the correction applies to, if the company has more than one
Pick the Path That Matches Your Situation
Something looks wrong
A service, city, phone number, credential, rating, or business detail does not match reality. Tell us what the page says now and what it should say.
Customers, property owners, insurance professionals, company staff
You own or manage the business
Claiming the listing is faster than sending corrections. Verified owners edit contact details, hours, services, service areas, description, and photos directly.
Owners, general managers, marketing managers
The listing should be removed
The business closed, the location is duplicated, or the profile should not appear in the directory. Include the page address and the reason.
Owners and authorized representatives
If you own the business, claiming the listing gives you ongoing control instead of a one-time fix. Start from Find a Restoration Company and use the claim link on your profile, or add your company if it is not listed yet.
Correction & Listing Request Form
The more specific the request, the faster it can be reviewed. Quote the wording you are questioning and include a source when one exists.
How a Request Is Reviewed
- 01
Recorded
Your request creates an internal record and notifies the directory team. Nothing on the public page changes at this point.
- 02
Compared
We compare the request against the current profile, company-provided information, public records, and any source you supplied.
- 03
Clarified
If the request is unclear or needs documentation, we may contact you or the company for more information.
- 04
Decided
Factual details are corrected once confirmed. A claim that cannot be supported is removed rather than softened. Requests we cannot act on are closed with a reason.
Corrections, Answered
- Who can request a correction?
- Anyone. Business owners, employees, customers, property owners, insurance professionals, and licensing bodies can all submit a correction request.
- Does submitting a request change the page immediately?
- No. A request creates an internal record for review. Public information is only updated after the directory compares the request with the profile and available sources.
- How long does a correction take?
- Simple factual corrections are usually handled quickly. Credential, licensing, and removal questions can take longer because they may require documentation or a public-record check.
- I own the business — should I claim the listing instead?
- Yes. Claiming is faster and gives you ongoing control. Verified owners update contact details, hours, services, service areas, description, and photos directly.
- Can a listing be removed on request?
- A business may request removal, for example when a location has closed or a profile is duplicated. Include the page address and the reason so the request can be verified.
- What if a claim cannot be supported?
- If the directory cannot reasonably support a statement, the statement is removed instead of being reworded to sound softer.
